MEDIA RELEASE
Update on court process 20 December 2010
Northeast Business Park has welcomed the finalisation of a preliminary court hearing that clears the way for its appeal to the Planning and Environment Court to be heard next year. The developers have appealed Moreton Bay Regional Council’s part refusal of a planning approval application for the 760 hectare development. Judge Robin QC ruled that NEBP had needed State Government consent to lodge its application - a formality that will be corrected before the appeal is heard, probably in the middle of next year. CEO Jeff Smith welcomed the resolution of the preliminary matters and said he was eager for the appeal itself to be heard.
