The Maleny is a new design which suits buyers seeking a large lifestyle home. The display at North Harbour showcases the extremely sought-after Hampton façade, with Hamptons style continuing through the interior. Soft herringbone timber flooring, with stone fireplaces, profile door cabinetry and understated wall cladding add to the effect.

The impressive entry provides access in two directions. To the left, the children’s wing with media room and separate breakout zone, while to the right, the main living area. A stunning dining space opens through to an elegant kitchen, comfortable family room, then out to the alfresco zone with its sparkling inground pool.

Whilst the Maleny offers an open and sociable layout, this clever design also offers plenty of concealed and private spaces. The kitchen flows through to a butler’s pantry and laundry zone providing functional and clever storage solutions making organising hectic family life that little bit easier.

The jewel of this home and the most discreet section of the floorplan is the master retreat. Accessible from the main living zone, this separate area has generous proportions, a large walk through robe leading to an elegant, award-winning ensuite and external access to a private courtyard.

10 Reasons Your Next Home Should be a House and Land Package at North Harbour

What’s a House and Land Package?

A “house and land package” is when the developer (North Harbour) who is selling land, asks a builder to provide an example of one of their designs which would fit on a particular block which adheres to covenant and building regulations i.e. space either side of the front of the house and so on. The developer and builder then package the house design and the land together into a House and Land Package.

The aim of these house and land packages is to give buyers a clear idea of what is achievable with certain blocks and particular house designs. Our usual recommendation to new visitors to North Harbour is to first choose the type of house you would like and then return to the Sales and Information Centre to discuss available land for sale which will work with your choice of design. As we already know that house and land packages supplied by our builder partners work with our covenants and building requirements, choosing a house and land package can streamline and simplify this process, particularly if you are a first home buyer or have bought before but are now looking to build for the first time.

House and land packages

House packages come with a variety of inclusions from basic requirements up to marble benchtops and top of the range cookers. Each builder offers a range of different packages to suit a range of needs and budgets. To find out more about living at North Harbour click here to see our available house and land packages.

Why Buy at North Harbour?

1 – 1000 Acres of Open Space and Parks: We differ from similarly sized southeast Queensland developments in that on completion we will offer a huge 1000 acres of open space and parklands (even larger than Central Park in New York) including environmental corridors, river access and a unique $3m Heritage Park with fishing platforms and canoe launches (currently under construction). This 1000 acres will include walking and bike tracks, lots of trees (over 60,000 have already been planted) and plenty of play equipment for young and older kids, BBQs, artworks and picnic areas as well as exercise equipment. By the end of 2019 we will have five parks open, including the Heritage Park.

2 – Amenities: The North Harbour community has its own fibre optic broadband network capable of speeds matching the fastest broadband in Australia* of up to 100Mb per second from a broad range of internet service providers. Each home has access to this highspeed broadband connection.

Each home also has access to reticulated gas and is within 325m of our 1,000 acres of parks, eco-corridors and open space.

3 – Heritage: The North Harbour site has a long and interesting heritage having gone through several incarnations over the years since it was first named Moray Fields in 1861 – a Cotton Farm, Sugar Plantation, Dairy Farm and Pine Plantation before being purchased by North Harbour in 2005. The Heritage Park which will showcase this area is currently in the final stages of construction and will open at the end of this year opening this unique area up to the public. To find out more about the Heritage Park click here.

4 – Location: North Harbour is a new development located approximately 15 minutes north of North Lakes on the Bruce Highway; we’re 35 minutes from the Sunshine Coast and 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD.
