Spring is here! Now is the best time to visit our display village.
September 4, 2016
It seems like Spring is springing upon us already! As the weather warms up the Village Park is full of happy families, swimming pool covers are being tentatively taken off for that first dip and our thoughts are turning to the great outdoors.
This year will be the first anniversary of the official opening of the Village Park at North Harbour. We opened with a special event held on October 24th, 2015. It was the very first community event which North Harbour held and marked a major milestone in construction of the development.
Located adjacent to the Display Village at the end of Moreton Bay Boulevard, the Village Park and surrounds offer residents heaps of excellent fitness opportunities.
The Village Park is the first of the parks to be built in North Harbour and incorporates two levels of play equipment to suit both older children and preschoolers. The 600sqm Park is attractively landscaped with undulating grass mounds ideal for independent play, space to run around and spread out for a picnic. Large sun shelters, drinking water fountains and barbecues complete the amenities and make it the ideal spot for a morning or afternoon play session or a relaxed family barbecue.
It’s a great space to use to get energetic with the kids, catch up for a coffee with friends or check some emails and Facebook using the free Wi-fi. Strap on your fitbit and count how many kilojoules pushing the kids on the swing uses up! You’ll be amazed. Or do some laps around the park while the kids play – the opportunities for a sneaky workout are endless!
North Harbour boasts the largest area devoted to open space and parks within the northern corridor and, upon completion, will offer residents 1000 acres of open space and parklands. Future development will include an off-leash area for dogs, parks with fitness equipment and enough space to hold boot camps and other outdoor fitness classes. Imagine everything on your doorstep, perfectly set up for easy every day activity.
Extensive bike and walking tracks will give residents options for exercise and fun activities. Proposed playing fields, a sporting complex and a heritage park will complement the water based activities provided by the Caboolture River and Moreton Bay.
The development has already reached a point where there is sufficient pavement to go for a nice long (up to an hour) walk or a run. You might want to consider joining one of the local running groups or go for a morning walk with friends. Our aim is that North Harbour becomes not just your new home but a complete destination lifestyle for our residents.
It will provide not just a place to live, but somewhere the kids will have room to kick a ball, ride a bike and go fishing. Where you will be able to walk your children to school and where you can catch up for a coffee or a bite to eat, all at your doorstep that is North Harbour.
In one, new place, North Harbour will create a community where you can truly say you ‘feel right at home’.
North Harbour, as its name suggests, has a strong affiliation with the Caboolture River and the world-renowned Moreton Bay. The masterplan centres itself around the marina which provides direct access to the Bay and its islands; Bribie Island, Moreton Island and North and South Stradbroke Islands. The development will give the recreational fisherman or sailing enthusiast opportunity to explore the many wonders of the northern Bay and Pumistone Passage.
And it doesn’t stop when you head indoors…When you visit our Display Homes Burpengary based Village, imagine building a new house with space for your fitness equipment, or a pool, or both. A large walk-in pantry might be an essential part of your commitment to eating healthily, a laundry with enough space to dry gym kits might also be on the must-have list! Each North Harbour home is connected to high speed Wi-fi so watching your favourite fitness YouTube videos on your smart TV is a cinch.
Any of the 35 Display Homes could be your ideal, you might also want to talk to one of the builders about other options they can offer. All the Display Homes are set up to showcase some living options you can consider.
So, whether your fitness passion is yoga, gym, bootcamps, jogging, walking or swimming our Display Homes Burpengary based Village can help you create the home of your dreams in a community designed around easy family living.
