North Harbour is a major sponsor of the Abbey Medieval Festival, an annual event run by the Abbey Museum of Art & Archaeology. The festival is the Museum’s premier fundraising event, and transports its visitors into a medieval wonderland every July. The event includes authentic medieval re-enactment camps, jousting and other tournaments, falconry, and many more family fun activities. North Harbour also partnered with the Abbey Museum to develop the Heritage Park precinct.

The Artisans Guild of Caboolture & District Inc. was founded in 1988 by a couple of ladies who wanted to get together and share their passion for art and crafts.

The Guild was formally incorporated in 1989 and moved into our current home at the Community Cultural Complex on the corner of Old Bay and Maitland Roads, Burpengary East in 2010.

After over 30 years of continuous operation by a dedicated group of volunteers, the aim of the Guild is still to promote the sharing of ideas and companionship through exhibitions, classes and working together groups covering many forms of art and craft activities, all of which are held at the Old Bay Road gallery.

Visitors to the gallery are always welcome and no matter what your interest and skill level, membership of the Guild will enrich your life and help you develop skills you didn’t know you had.

Chloe Alley: The Young Entrepreneur Behind ‘By Chloe’

Hi, I’m Chloe Alley Founder – Owner of By Chloe and 2021 Future Anything Grand Final Winner

I started my business back in 2019 when I was just 11 years old.

In 2019, I was gifted a sewing machine from my grandparents for Christmas. At the time I had no idea how to sew nor did I expect to receive a sewing machine! Throughout the years I would pull out my sewing machine and teach myself how to make various things such as a little skirt for my cousin and fabric coasters. After injuring myself while competing in a Touch Football competition, my mum gave me a heat wheat to help relieve the discomfort, this is where it all started! Whilst using the heat wheat I thought of how useful it would be if I was able to make my own style of these to help others too. After some research and trial and error, I purchased all the materials needed to make a heat wheat. I then started selling my heat wheats to family and friends and soon enough I had a long list of orders to fill. A few years later, I now have 8 stockists and attend various handmade markets.

As part of my business studies at school, I was given the incredible opportunity to enter my business into the Future Anything Competition. After being successful in winning the semi-finals, I progressed to the grand finals where I pitched my business idea to a panel of 4 judges and 500+ people. That night, I was announced the 2021 National Future Anything Winner. This moment meant so much for me and my future business!

I am super passionate and driven to help people in my own unique way.

Caboolture Environmental Education Centre (CREEC) is set on 18 hectares next to Burpengary Creek. The 18 hectare site has several habitats and is home to a wide range of wildlife. On site is an administration building with auditorium, a community nursery, playground, BBQ and interpretive trail.

The Caboolture Sports Dog Obedience Club’s aim is to provide dog obedience training services for the Moreton Bay Regional Council areas. The Caboolture Sports Dog Obedience Club is at present one of the most successful dog obedience Clubs in the South-East Queensland.  They have Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking and Track & Search activities.

Caboolture Sports FC was formed back in 1969 by Father Francis of St Michael’s Church for everyone to enjoy the game of football. The club started with one senior men’s team back in 1969 and now in 2021 has 900 players ranging in age from 5 year olds to 68 years old. Caboolture Sports FC men’s team currently play in the Football Queensland Premier League our club juniors play in Football Brisbane competitions. In 2022 our under 18 boys team will move across to Football Queensland competition and in 2023 some of our junior teams will also move across to Football. Queensland competitions.

Caboolture Sports FC are a family club that play in a modern purpose-built football facility that was constructed in 2018 by Moreton Bay Regional Council which has three Fifa rated fields, one being an all-weather synthetic field. With the assistance of Moreton Bay Regional Council our club will have an additional three fields completed in early 2023.

Caboolture Touch Association is one of the largest clubs in the Sunshine Coast region, providing social and competitive competitions and training for all players from juniors to seniors in men’s, women’s and mixed divisions. The Club has over 36 junior and 90 senior teams ranging from U8s to Open.

Caboolture Touch also offers junior and senior representative pathways, Junior Academy sessions and a Free Women in Touch program on Sunday mornings.

Girl Guides Queensland is the largest youth organisation for girls and young women in Queensland with almost 4000 youth Members and 1000 volunteer Leaders and adult Members.

We provide a non-formal educational program designed to create leaders of tomorrow by building on strengths and personal skills development.
This program is flexible and can be designed to suit each individual youth Member and adult Members goals. We are an organisation that welcomes and actively seeks members from all racial, ethnic, religious and socio-economic groups.

The Moreton Bay Lions is the go to club for aspiring players of our great game of Aussie Rules in the Moreton Bay region. With our senior men winning the 2019 and 2020 premierships, and our Division 1 women making the finals in 2020, we believe the club is headed in the right direction.

We are in the unique position of being able to offer a pathway for our players to chase their dreams from little Auskickers all the way through to becoming senior players at the one club.

Our facilities are second to none for a community football club. They have been described by former AFL Chairman, Mike Fitzpatrick, “as the best community sporting facilities in Australia.” That is a huge rap for our club, and the MBRC which built the facility from scratch.

We are delighted to be partnered with North Harbour who have been a wonderful sponsor of the Moreton Bay Lions for many years now. Our close proximity to one another makes our partnership a perfect match.

Volunteer Marine Rescue Bribie Island is a volunteer organisation dedicated to:
– promoting, fostering and supporting boating safety amongst members, and the boating public generally, by arranging training and education programs
– providing a rescue service, a rescue base and such equipment deemed necessary for the operation of the rescue service and the Association generally.

The Unit was born out of the Bribie Island Boating and Fishing Club, which in 1970 assumed responsibility for assisting mariners in distress. It became Bribie Island Air Sea Rescue in 1982 and changed its name to VMR Bribie Island Inc. in March 1997.
