Ways in which North Harbour has been awarded and recognised

UDIA Finalist 2022

North Harbour was also named a finalist in the highly competitive Environmental Excellence award category, highlighting our commitment to sustainability, innovative and efficient practices.

North Harbour Project Director, Bryan Finney, said the North Harbour team was delighted to be recognised as an industry leader in both categories.

UDIA Winner 2021

North Harbour’s extensive parklands and open space at Burpengary East have taken top honours in the Parks and Recreation category at the prestigious 2021 UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence.

North Harbour’s open space includes five parks, free events such as yoga and parkrun, and features 6km of riverside mountain bike trails, walking trails, and educational recreation facilities which showcase the history of the original “Moray Fields” settlement at the Queensland Heritage Registered site.

UDIA Winner 2018

North Harbour has been named Best Residential Subdivision in Queensland, in the 2018 Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Qld Awards for Excellence.

UDIA Judges said North Harbour showed excellence in number of categories, including planning, community, sustainability, urban design and engineering and had distinguishing features such as the Parkland and Heritage Park which stood out for them.

Envirodevelopment

North Harbour has achieved EnviroDevelopment accreditation in recognition of its commitment to environmental excellence.

EnviroDevelopment is a scientifically based assessment scheme which independently reviews development projects and awards certification to those that achieve outstanding performance across four or more of the provided elements – Ecosystems, Waste, Energy, Materials, Water and Community.
