Location, Location, Location

North Harbour is a unique residential development in the northern corridor between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Already home to more than 2000 residents, the North Harbour site is bounded by 9km of direct river frontage which is proposed to become a marina and recreation precinct and parklands, making this entire area accessible to the community to enjoy.

Our suburb of Burpengary East is around 50km from the Sunshine Coast’s award-winning beaches, 40km from Bribie Island, 29km from the Glasshouse Mountains and 45km from Brisbane CBD, making this the ideal spot from which to explore Southeast Queensland. And, if you want to go by boat from the Uhlmann Road boat ramp, we’re only 10km on the water from Moreton Bay!

There are also plenty of reasons to stay put as we are close to shops, cafes, restaurants and other amenities and there are heaps of recreational options including museums, sporting facilities, art galleries and more – right on our doorstep.

For work and play transport options are also good, we’re five minutes drive from the Bruce Highway, Morayfield train station is just 10 minutes away and nearby North Lakes, Burpengary and Morayfield shopping centres, as well as Costco, Bunnings and IKEA are within easy reach.

Amenities

North Harbour itself boasts excellent home accessible amenities with access to the fastest residential broadband connection in Australia and reticulated natural gas available to every home.

We differ from similarly sized southeast Queensland developments in that on completion we will offer a huge 1000 acres of open space and parklands (even larger than Central Park in New York) including environmental corridors, river access and a marina precinct (subject to approvals). This 1000 acres will include walking and bike tracks, lots of trees (more than 100,000 have already been planted) and plenty of play equipment for young and older kids, BBQs, artworks and picnic areas as well as exercise equipment. North Harbour has five parks open already (with two more to come in mid 2022) and offers weekly free events which are open to everyone in the community including parkrun and Sunrise Yoga.

North Harbour has a café, Havn, located at the Sales and Information Centre and a childcare centre, Edge Early Learning. Burpengary East also has its own shopping and medical complex, “The HUB”, which is a short five minute drive from North Harbour (and easily accessible by foot if you prefer to walk) and includes the essentials of a Bakery, Fish & Chips, Bottle-o, Butcher, Pizza & Pasta takeway, Hair Dresser & Beautician, IGA, Dentist, Chemist and Medical Centre.

North Harbour is just 10 minutes from shopping giants Costco and Ikea and both North Lakes Westfield and Morayfield shopping centres. Both areas have excellent facilities, and both are big employers in the region. You never have to travel far to find what you need, one of the many reasons real estate in Burpengary East is booming!

Burpengary East is beloved by residents as a fantastic place to bring up kids with lots of space and amenities as well as still being able to hop on a train and head to Brisbane’s South Bank, West End or the Suinshine Coast for a day or night out, or drive half an hour up to Bribie for a day at the beach with a picnic. There is a lot to do locally with weekly markets, plenty of sporting Clubs and venues, parks and community events and groups to join.

You are never stuck for something to do in Burpengary East. Not only does North Harbour offer free cross-country parkrun on a Saturday, free Yoga in the Park on a Sunday and Cam’s boot camp on weekdays and Saturdays (click here to find more details on our Events page) – we’ve also partnered with many local community groups and teams.
