What it Feels like Living at North Harbour

North Harbour is located halfway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and is one of the best places to live in Southeast Queensland. Our award-winning development is environmentally accredited, and we have five beautiful parks to enjoy including our $3M riverside Heritage Park.

Living at North Harbour gives you access to amenities which are truly 21st-century with the fastest residential broadband connection in Australia and reticulated natural gas to every home. North Harbour is well located for easy access to the Bruce Highway. Morayfield and Burpengary train stations are just 10 minutes away and North Lakes, Burpengary and Morayfield shopping centres, as well as Costco, Bunnings and IKEA are within easy reach.

North Harbour Parks & Activities

While our location (in the big growth suburb of Burpengary East) is excellent, it is our lifestyle amenities that make living at North Harbour a popular choice. With five parks already open, a large open air dining precinct, mountain bike trail and more – there is so much to choose from, and something to suit everyone.

Village Park

Village Park was the first park to open at North Harbour in 2015 and offers play equipment suitable for older and younger children. With plenty of space to play, BBQ and picnic shelters, and free Wi-Fi, Village Park is also the home of Cam’s Boot Camp and is a popular central meeting place for families in our community.

Reflections Park

Reflections opened in 2017 and is located at the western corner of North Harbour, adjacent to Raff Creek Eco-Corridor. With play equipment for younger children, Reflections has plenty of flat space around for playing, and is also the home of our free weekly yoga class, Sunday Sunrise Yoga in the Park.

Riparian Park

Riparian Park opened in May 2019 and is already extremely popular having hosted the inaugural community cricket match between neighbourhood streets! With a flying fox, heaps of play equipment, fitness equipment and half basketball court, Riparian Park also continues the stretch of bike tracks and walking tracks along Mornington Parade which begin at Reflections Park.

Habitat Park

Habitat Park opened in June 2019 and is an extremely popular park offering two off-leash dog areas with doggy play equipment. Habitat Park also includes play equipment for kids, fitness equipment, BBQs and shelters and wetlands.

Heritage Park

One of the most exciting and unique parts of the North Harbour masterplan is our Heritage Park which is located along the banks of Caboolture River, which will be officially opened in November 2019. Heritage Park is a community attraction listed in the Queensland Heritage Register and has been created in partnership with The Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology.

The historical aspects of this Queensland Heritage Registered site have been combined with a vast expanse of parkland including pathways and tracks for use by residents and visitors, allowing everyone to enjoy our slice of Queensland history and the beautiful Caboolture River. The heritage remains have been carefully preserved and will be available to view and enjoy by the general public in perpetuity.

Living at North Harbour

The history of the site is interpreted from a dedicated facility, the Compass Centre, which delivers a ‘mind map’ of the site before it is experienced firsthand. The Compass Centre presents historic photographs, sketched and objects on display which allow visitors to appreciate the stories and significant developments from early European settlement through to the present day.

Our heritage trails offer educational signage to assist in interpreting the archaeological features that remain.

On a broader community level, the South Sea Islander history of the site has presented an opportunity to recognise the contribution made by past generations of South Sea Islanders and provide a tangible, visitable focus for the Island and Australian South Sea Islander community and their descendants. Space is being made available for the South Sea Islander community to remember their ancestors at this place.

Bite Markets at North Harbour: Every Friday and Saturday from 4pm-10pm, over 40 flavour makers open their doors at Bite Markets offering you the perfect place to eat, drink and spend time with friends and family. Bite is a short 3 minutes from the North Harbour Sales Centre at Exit 150 off the Bruce Highway on Nolan Drive.

North Harbour Mountain Bike Trail: Up to 6kms of riverside, off-road tracks to suit beginners and families as well as intermediate level riders.
