Welcome to the first North Harbour blog. In these weekly missives we’ll be reporting on everything going on in North Brisbane’s largest new masterplanned community.

Firstly, let me introduce the development.


North Harbour is a new development located at Burpengary East about 10 minutes north of North Lakes on the Bruce Highway. This brand new community is introducing a new destination into the Moreton Bay Region, one which will take shape over the next 15 years as part of the significant growth projected for the local area. The plan includes heaps of open space, parks, excellent amenities and a strong community focus – we’re building a new suburb for families to enjoy in a great location, halfway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Also in the plan is a marina (for which we’re currently awaiting approval), shops, cafes, restaurants and sports fields. North Harbour will create access to 9km of Caboolture River frontage and 1000 acres of adjoining parkland.

We’ve been very excited to welcome over 30 new families who now call North Harbour home. Our community is already thriving and we even have a resident-run Facebook group, North Harbour Community. Many of the families meet for picnics at the park, have birthday parties and catch up at the end of the school day. The park offers top of the range play equipment for both littlies and bigger kids, plenty of shade, water and seating, and free Wifi.

Where are we at?

We’re just about to release our Stage 9 house and land packages and have sold approximately 300 blocks of land with 30+ families now moved into their new home. New houses are being completed every week, Stages 1-8 have completely sold out and our Display Village is open, showcasing the work of 14 local and national builders in 35 stunning Display Homes.

Our latest release is The Cowrie Release. Cowrie is Stage 9 and offers a variety of housing choices ranging from Premium Villa to Traditional family blocks with sizes ranging from 355m2 – 988m2.

How does it work?

North Harbour sells house and land packages from our sales office located at the entrance to the development on the corner of Moreton Bay Boulevard and Buckley Road. With 35 stunning homes on display in the Display Village, we recommend you make a few visits to have a look what’s on offer. Aidan, our Sales Consultant, can discuss your land requirements, review your options with you, show you through the plans and take you on site to view your chosen block. The North Harbour Sales office and Display Village are open 10am-5pm, seven days a week. Please contact us for more information or to arrange an appointment. If you already have a builder in mind we will work with you to help you create your perfect home on your perfect block. We can also advise on which builder to choose if you have a certain block in mind and create the perfect house and land packages for you. Aidan and the team at the office are around 10am-5pm every day, except public holidays. We have a great kids room at the sales office to keep the littlest members of the family entertained while you browse and the park is just across the road from the Display Village so they can run around while you talk things through. They might even make some local friends ready for your move.

One of the best things about buying a brand new home is that you get to choose the perfect house for your needs. Mix and match kitchen styles, bedroom layouts, outdoor and garden plans and get excellent interior ideas from the expert stylists in the Display Village.


A home and land Burpengary based development, North Harbour is only 10 minutes from North Lakes, 36 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, 29 minutes from the Brisbane Airport, 45 minutes from the Port of Brisbane and 35 minutes from the Sunshine Coast. With a proposed marina village being the focal point of North Harbour, a sense of community will emerge as the population grows. Planned sporting fields, 1000 acres of open space, a proposed school, a business park and a proposed marina village of shops, cafes and restaurants will add to the amenities of this great community.

The Village Park at the end of Moreton Bay Boulevard is the first of the parks to be built in North Harbour. It incorporates two areas of play equipment to suit older children and preschoolers. It is beautifully landscaped with undulating grass mounds which kids love to run up and roll down and sand around the play equipment which keeps them safe from bumps and also provides fun in itself. Handy shelters, drinking fountains (for people and pets) and barbecues complete the Village Park for a morning or afternoon play session or a relaxed family barbecue. It’s large, with 6000 sqm of space to have fun, relax and have a chat or coffee catch up with friends. There’s also enough space for you to exercise while you keep an eye on the kids or catch up on some emails using our free Wifi. (I can attest to the success of the lazy weekend family dinner: pop down to Divine Pizza & Pasta at the Hub, two minutes away, and enjoy a lazy al fresco meal with the family before catching a Netflix family movie on your high speed broadband. North Harbour boasts the largest area devoted to open space and parks within the northern corridor (the stretch between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast). Extensive bike and walking tracks will give residents options for exercise and fun activities. Proposed playing fields, a sporting complex and a heritage park will complement the water based activities provided by the Caboolture River and Moreton Bay.
